Fiber Slim is the innovative fiberglass window frame, which, due to its advanced features and design, represents the most evolved type within Korus' PVC range. Designed for a clientele attentive to design, it stands out in the window market for its exclusive design.
The profiles are co-extruded with a compound of PVC and BASF resin, a PBT/PET alloy reinforced with 55% fiberglass. This revolutionary material offers greater resistence and thermal insulation compared to windows with metal reinforcements, made possible by the improved stiffness/performance ratio guaranteed by this solution. Moreover, fiberglass allows for a lighter structure while simultaneously improving transmittance due to the absence of iron reinforcement.
Fiber Slim features 6 chambers in the frame and a sash profile without glass stops. The frame section has a depth of 76 mm and can be configured with both 60 and 35 lowered fins, an option particularly useful in renovation phases.
It can be ordered with 2 central node variants:
- A symmetrical one, measuring 123 mm allows for both sashes to be perfectly equal in size;
- An asymmetrical one, measuring only 89 mm features a slightly smaller sash compared to the other, allowing for up to 30% more glazed area compared to a standard PVC window.
Various types with one or more sashes and different opening types are available, all with 3 standard gaskets and a 15-year warranty. Lastly, thanks to the K-Perfect welding, the bead and corner finishing operations are completely eliminated, preserving aesthetics and quality.
Fiber Slim is also available in the Energy version, the innovative line characterized by excellent thermal performance, cutting-edge technical features, and the use of eco-friendly materials. With improved thermal insulation, energy savings on bills are achieved while generating less pollution.
